Dear faculty members, researchers, and students,

This physical and online lecture invites Mrs Mui Van Zandt to speak.Mrs. Mui Van Zandt is Vice President/Global Head of Data Strategy, Access, and Enablement at IQVIA, leading global real-world data/real world evidence innovation strategy. She brings over 14+ years of experience across real world, payer provider, and commercial segments. Her expertise includes extensive knowledge of real-world data (RWD) globally, understanding of different EMR systems, RWD standardization, ontology harmonization and use of RWD for retrospective/prospective studies.

Mrs. Mui Van Zandt is also a key member of the OHDSI community, leading under the Asian Pacific chapter to provide overall strategy for adoption of OMOP, and is also a core member of the global steering committee.

In the era of artificial intelligence, the contribution of global real-world data and evidence to human health is a crucial topic. This lecture will explore how artificial intelligence leverages big data and real-world evidence to provide more precise, personalized healthcare solutions, benefiting from disease prevention to treatment and ongoing management. Additionally, it will discuss the impact of these technologies on healthcare systems, resource allocation, and individual health management, as well as the balance between privacy protection and health data sharing. The discussion will not only focus on individual health but also on the advancement of healthcare and public health for the entire society.
